Pershore Rugby Club...
Following the recent flooding I regret to inform you that Pershore RFC suffered extensive damage in so much as the clubhouse is now totally inoperable and is likely to be so until the end of October at the earliest.
We are making every effort to install temporary facilities at the very least to ensure that we can host clubs and play rugby at Piddle Park as soon as possible.
During this unforeseeable disruption there may be some requirement to amend fixtures where we may request our home games be reversed or played at an alternative venue.
Additionally, we would hope that all visiting clubs do acknowledge our problems and accept that our facilities, changing rooms, bar, kitchen etc. will be very limited in the early part of the season.
We are particularly aware that other league clubs may have also sufffered a similar fete and are also be experiencing problems!
Progress changes almost daily and we will be in touch via Fixture Secretaries in due course.
As an aside I am not able to find email addresses for Bristol Harlequins, Spartans (first league game!) and Stroud if anyone can help.
